A nikkah is one of the most blessed moments in a Muslim's life. At Darul Ihsaan Barking, we are honoured to facilitate nikkah ceremonies in a beautiful, spiritual setting, conducted by our imam in accordance with Islamic tradition.
Whether you are planning a simple, intimate ceremony or a larger gathering with family, we will work with you to ensure everything is conducted with dignity and in the proper Islamic manner.
What you will need
- Two Muslim witnesses (male)
- The bride's wali (guardian) present or formally appointed
- The agreed mahr (dowry) — amount is between the couple
- Valid identification for both parties
- For civil recognition: a prior registry office marriage
How to book
Complete the booking form below with the details of both parties, the wali, witnesses and the agreed mahr. Please do this as early as possible, ideally at least four weeks before your intended date. Once received, we will arrange a brief consultation with the imam to confirm everything and finalise your date and time.
