A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. This policy explains which cookies Darul Ihsaan Barking uses. We keep this to a minimum. We use strictly necessary cookies, plus optional analytics cookies only if you accept them. We never use advertising cookies.
Cookies we use
- Administrator session (
di_admin) — set only when a staff member signs in to manage the site; keeps them logged in securely. - Sign-in security (
di_oauth) — a short-lived token used during Google/Microsoft sign-in to prevent cross-site request forgery. - Protected pages (
dip_…) — remembers that you entered the correct password for a password-protected page.
If you only browse the public site, these cookies are generally not set.
Optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
If you click Accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. This sets the cookies _ga and _ga_…, which last up to 2 years. The data is aggregated, we turn off Google's advertising features and data sharing, and we do not use it for advertising or to identify you.
Nothing is loaded from Google Analytics until you accept. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of every page. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage (not a cookie).
Similar technologies
The site can be installed as an app and works offline using a service worker, which caches pages and images on your device for performance. This stores no personal data and can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing site data in your browser.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies above will prevent staff from signing in to the admin area but will not affect normal browsing.
