Pregnancy, childbirth and early years can be some of the most testing times for any mother.
This, with so much misinformation circulating can make the whole process even harder.
Alhamdulillah, Darul Ihsaan has been given the opportunity to invite the *Chair of Maternity Voices* for Barking and Dagenham to give a small talk at the Masjid inshaAllah.
She works at Queens hospital to improve maternity services, and understands the struggles of Muslim women’s voices being unheard during pregnancy/giving birth. An advocate for raising more awareness around inequalities, lack of informed choices and language barriers, she is pivotal in this positive work.
This is a perfect opportunity for soon-to-be mothers, mothers who have given birth in the last few years or those with unresolved issues .
