Ridhwan is a dedicated professional serving as the Head of Media at Darul Ihsaan Barking, where he orchestrates a myriad of digital initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement and outreach. His multifaceted role encompasses website management, crafting captivating visuals, overseeing video production, and fostering agile methodologies to ensure timely project delivery.
Born and raised in the vibrant East London, Ridhwan found himself moving with his family into the community of Barking after completing his secondary education, Ridhwan’s journey into media and communications was a natural progression fuelled by his innate passion for storytelling and digital innovation. Having been an active member of the Darul Ihsaan congregation for many years, Ridhwan’s commitment to serving his community led him to volunteer his talents in bolstering the masjid’s digital presence.
With a background rooted in his childhood aspiration of becoming a film director, Ridhwan infuses his work with a creative flair, striving to impart meaningful messages through captivating visuals and storytelling. While his dream of directing cinematic masterpieces may have taken a backseat to his professional responsibilities, Ridhwan’s dedication to crafting narratives that resonate with his audience remains unwavering.
Beyond his role at Darul Ihsaan, Ridhwan finds solace and camaraderie on the badminton court, where he co-organises sessions with fellow community member Brother Akhlaq. He extends an open invitation to anyone interested in joining the games or exploring media-related endeavours.
